Articulated Materials
‘Bridging Waters’ UPDATED 12/1/2012 Christine Spencer and Lesley Turner have set up a joint project to create an exhibition that will be shown both in the UK and Canada. They are both members of similar exhibiting groups based in their own countries and they see this as a great opportunity to create bridges between international textile artists to create a joint exhibition. The artists will be taking inspiration from two iconic water features: the river Thames for Christine’s group, Material Girls, and the Bay of Fundy for Articulation, Lesley’s group. The aim is to exhibit the work in the UK in 2012 – starting in February – and then send the whole body to Canada for exhibition at various locations in 2013. The work from Canada has arrived safely, invitations to the Private View are emailed or posted, just time to take a breath before the EXHIBITION starts we hope to see you there!
